The 1978 Moto Guzzi LeMans mounted the Italian company's respected 1000-cc V-twin inside a sportbike style and design for any exclusive mix of electrical power and style.
When Moto Guzzi launched its initially V-twin from the mid 1960s, it displaced 700 cc and was mounted within a shaft-drive model identified as the V7. The engine soon grew to 750 cc, and a performance-oriented model named the Sport followed.
Further enlargements on the V-twin inside the mid 1970s greater displacement to 850 cc, then to a complete liter. Nearly all of these engines were mounted in touring motorcycles, but so as to capture the consideration in the enthusiast market place, Moto Guzzi introduced the LeMans Mk I in 1976.
